The picture reminds me a lot of “A Country Doctor” by Franz Kafka because of the details in the picture. The narrator describes himself going out in the horrible blizzard to go and help a patient who is far out. He is considered the town’s doctor and it is his duty to attend to matters like this one. The whole story is a result of a single mistake and it takes him down a path that is a nightmare. This picture encapsulates this story very well because throughout the story, the image that I had in my head was almost identical to this one. It’s almost as if Franz Kafka himself made this picture.
